All business and landowners whose businesses or properties are located within the Taradale commercial zone and whose business or property contribute to the promotional levy, paid through the Napier City Council rates, automatically become members of the Association. Despite this, the Ministry require all members to provide written consent to be members. Please complete the following form:
I, _______________________________ (full name), hereby consent to be a member or affiliate member of the Taradale Business Association(TBA)By signing this form, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1.
I have read and understood the association's Constitution and agree to abide by it.
2.
I understand that my membership is either
a.
levied (all business and landowners whose businesses or properties are located within the Taradale commercial zone) or;
b.
affiliate (businesses that operate outside of the commercial zone can also apply for membership. Acceptance of this membership is at the discretion of the committee).
3.
I agree to pay the required membership fees and dues as set by the association.
4.
I consent to receive communications from the association via email, phone, social media or mail regarding association activities, meetings, and other relevant information.
5.
I understand that my personal information will be handled in accordance with the association's privacy policy.
6.
I agree to participate in association activities and contribute to its goals to the best of my abilities.
7.
I understand that my membership can be terminated if I violate the association's Constitution or engage in conduct detrimental to the association.
8.
I release the association from any liability for personal injury or property damage that may occur during association activities, except in cases of gross negligence.
