Ōtātara pā walkway

Ōtātara Pā walkway. Walkway Declared Open. Nigel Hadfield on the left and regional conservator John Ombler perform the traditional hongi at the Ōtātara Pā walkway opening ceremony yesterday. Conservation Corps members, who worked on restoring and developing the 15th century site, Department of Conservation staff and representatives from the ministry of Youth Affairs took part in the opening ceremony following a powhiri or welcome at Waiohiki Marae. Photograph taken 27 November 1993.
